Eyelid Lift

An Eyelid Lift is also known as a blepharoplasty.

The surgery will rejuvenate the eyes by removing loose skin and extra fatty tissue to reduce the signs of aging.

Eyelid Lifts are often combined with other procedures including face lifts, brow lifts, skin peels, or laser skin resurfacing to treat areas of sun damage and fine lines that are not removed by the Eyelid Lift procedure.

Good candidates for an Eyelid Lift:

Have loose, sagging skin that causes droopiness of the upper or lower eyelids
Have extra fat around the eyes that cause puffiness
Have bags of the lower eyelids
Do not smoke

Dr. Henderson will examine you and help determine which procedure will acheive your desired look then provide you expert treatment and care during the process.

Upper eyelid surgery is a separate procedure from lower eyelid surgery.

Eyelid surgery will not lift droopy eyebrows, remove dark circles under the eyes, or remove crow's feet wrinkles at the corners of the eyes.

Eyelid Lift surgery may be performed with general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.
