Buttock Contouring

There are two main types of buttock contouring procedures:
buttock augmentation and buttock lift.

Buttock augmentation will increase the size of the buttocks.
This can be performed with fat transfer or implants.
Buttock augmentation with fat transfer is commonly known as the "Brazilian Butt Lift."

A buttock lift will remove excess skin and some fat from your upper buttocks, resulting in an overall lifting effect for the buttocks.

Good candidates for buttock augmentation include those with a loss of buttock volume after significant weight loss or a simple desire for increased buttock volume.

Good candidates for a buttock lift include those with excess skin after significant weight loss, childbirth, or aging.

Dr. Henderson will examine you and help determine which procedure is most suitable for you. She will then provide you expert treatment and care during the process.

General anesthesia is required for buttock contouring procedures.

Dr. Raven Henderson performs most buttock contouring surgeries on an outpatient basis.

There will be dressings and postoperative garments. The stitches are absorbable. You can remove the dressings and take a shower on the 5^th day after surgery.
